Store closes for refit
The North Road store will close at 6pm on October 18 and then re-open at 9am on Wednesday, November 19.
A Somerfield spokesman said the supermarket was being completely refurbished with new shelves and tills. The delicatessen is being refitted and a new rotisserie is being built.

Hide AdThe spokesman said the work is part of the company's ongoing improvement programme and said shoppers should use Shoreham's Somerfield store while the Lancing branch is closed.
The Shoreham store in Ham Road was itself given a 1.4 million refit in October, 2001. Somerfield is planning to refurbish 100 stores nationwide in the next 12 months.
