UPDATE: Elderly man suffers '˜double leg break' after 5ft wall collapses in Bognor

The ambulance service confirmed the man was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester after what was reported as a garden wall blew over onto the elderly man and his dog in Blake’s Road.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “What was described to us as a 5ft garden wall blew over in the wind on a man in his 70s.

Hide Ad“We were called at just before 7.50am (Monday, February 8), we sent one ambulance crew to the scene.
“The man suffered suspected fractures to his leg, what seems like a double leg break, was fully conscious while he was being treated, and was taken as a priority to St Richard’s Hospital.”
The fire service earlier confirmed that the man’s dog had died in the accident.
