UPDATE: Horsham's John Lewis raided in overnight break-in
Police were called to the store in Albion Way at around 11pm.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said the thieves smashed a large glass pane at the front of the store to gain access.

Hide AdOnce inside, the raiders broke into a glass cabinet to remove the electronic equipment and also raided a number of tills, making off with a small amount of cash.
Items taken included cameras, laptops and computer tablets, the spokesman added.
Officers said less than five minutes after breaking in, three men were seen running from the building carrying what appeared to be duffel bags.
A police helicopter was called to help officers but the men were not located.
