Devon is heaven for Dragonflyers
This is a major event in the trampoline calendar with 13 regions represented by their top three competitors in each event – youngsters who were able to obtain the required national qualification score.
Anya Johnston, 13, was given the honour of being regional female team captain, having gained the right by being the highest-ranked female and second-highest ranked trampolinist in the region.

Hide AdJames Smith competed the highest difficulty routine in his age group in the top-level event of the day with precision and confidence and in the process earned vital points for the southern region.
He is the top NDP six performer in Britain.
Izzy Hauxwell, 11, executed two routines with skill and accuracy to finish eighth in the girls’ NDP six, earning more points for the region.
Johnston recovered from a shaky first routine to perform an incredible second routine, moving her up to tenth in the 13-14 NDP six group.
Also gaining points for the region was Taylor Cleall, finishing an amazing fifth in the NDP three 13/14 girls’ group after completing both routines with excellence and grace, with Libby Morton ninth in the nine-ten age group. Jess Lyne finished 12th in the 13-14 NDP four event.

Hide AdThe southern region finished third overall, behind the south west and West Midlands showcasing the national talent we have within the region.
