BRIGHTON & Hove Albion’s lead at the top of the Championship has been cut to three points after a 0-0 draw away to Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon.

Albion striker Tomer Hemed, who had netted in the club’s three previous games, had a first half penalty saved, before the hosts were reduced to ten men early in the second half.

Brighton were awarded the spot-kick on 20 minutes when Jamie Murphy was fouled by Scott Golbourne but Hemed’s penalty was saved by Emiliano Martinez, who also stopped the rebound.
