Lewes sign Romain from Three Bridges
The player featured in the opening 45 minutes of Saturday’s opening pre-season friendly against Albion and showed enough in his performance and pre-season training sessions for Lewes to want to sign him.
Romain has been a regular scorer for Three Bridges over the last four seasons, with 16 goals last year, and has also played for the Sussex representative side.

Elliott Romain has agreed to become a Lewes player. Sometimes – Garry did at Eastbourne Borough with people like Andy Atkin – you have to unearth a jewel. It is all very well signing the established players, the Dodds, the Elphicks, the Blewdens but you need to unearth a few and I have a feeling that Elliott Romain might just be one we have unearthed.”
