Hastings, Bexhill Organ & Keyboard Society

LAST month's artist was Michael McAneny. Michael was making his second visit to our society. The near capacity audience were very appreciative of Michael's programme, which included some of his own compositions together with music by Scott Joplin and Elton John. He also gave a stirring rendition of the RAF march past, Nimrod.

This month's concert will be held on Thursday, April 24 when we welcome a return visit by Steve Clarke. He will be playing his Yamaha EL90.

Steve has had an interest in music since an early age, starting with the piano accordion and then switching his attention to the organ. He has been a regional manager for both Yamaha and Lowery Organs but now devotes his time to the playing side of the organ and keyboard world. Michael has played with many famous variety and cabaret artists and has also entertained on cruise ships in addition to organ clubs and organ festivals in this country and abroad.

If you have an interest in playing, or just listening to good music, why not join us. We meet on the last Thursday of each month at Pebsham C P School, School Place, Hastings Road, at 7.30pm.
