It follows on from a successful tour of Europe and the UK last autumn and a high-profile support slot with folk rockers The Levellers.

She Makes War is Laura Kidd. Laura and her band will be premiering songs from her forthcoming third album, Direction Of Travel, the first single from which will be released in June.

Describing herself as “a pacifist force of nature with a punk spirit and a serious work ethic”, She Makes War’s mission is a peaceful but provocative one, she says: “to create breathtakingly-honest music” and share her art and her heart with the world.

Her songs have been championed by the likes of BBC6 music DJs Lauren Laverne, Marc Riley and Tom Robinson as well as fellow musician Amanda Palmer.
