Chichester fashion retailer closing down

A fashion retailer in Chichester will not reopen after the coronavirus pandemic.

Oasis collapsed into administration last month and pictures have emerged this week showing stock being moved out of its premises in East Street, Chichester.

It was reported in April that The Oasis and Warehouse Group’s collapse would put 2,000 workers at risk of losing their job across the chain’s 92 branches and 437 concessions.

The news comes amid an uncertain time for many businesses across the UK, after being forced to close to customers due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Read more here
