Gillian Keegan MP celebrates pubs reopening with a drink in Chichester

The Chichester MP marked the reopening of pubs and restaurants with a visit to the Crate and Apple in Chichester on Saturday.

Gillian Keegan said it was great to be able to visit pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants again.

She said of her visit to the Westate pub: “It was lovely to see the team there again and I want to thank everyone in the industry who have worked so hard to ensure they can reopen their doors in a COVID-secure way.

“After 103 days of lockdown, it was a real treat to be able to sit, have a drink and enjoy a pub lunch with that unique pub atmosphere.

“Please do get out there and support your local if you can.”
