Eastbourne court to be knocked down?
Plans are in the pipeline to demolish the former Eastbourne Law Courts in Old Orchard Road.
An application has been submitted by Eastbourne council, which bought the building from the justice department, to knock the building down.
In March last year the council announced it wanted to buy the site, knock the building down and replace it with affordable housing.
The courts closed in Eastbourne in late 2016.
A decision will be made by the council’s planning department in the coming weeks.
