It will take place at the Arena Sports Centre, Westloats Lane (PO21 5JD) on Wednesday, August 31, from 10am - 7pm.

It follows complaints from people living in the Bognor area that they were being overlooked, when the Chichester improvement plans would directly affect them as well.

There are now eight public exhibition dates left, where all five proposed improvement options will be on display and discussed.

County Council Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, John O’Brien, said: “We are delighted residents and businesses in Bognor Regis are being given this opportunity to speak to Highways England face to face in their town.

“Please take this opportunity to see the exhibition and talk to the experts about the five options available.

“And if you haven’t already done so, please respond to Highways England’s consultation online or complete a paper survey and drop it off at one of the collection points set up throughout the area.”

Highways England representatives will be available at the exhibition to explain proposed changes to the A27 at Chichester, and answer questions from the public.

West Sussex County Council, a consultee in the multi-million-pound scheme, is set to debate the draft response to the consultation on Thursday, September 15.
