The new shop, located on East Street, has created more than 15 new jobs – including baristas, hot food chefs and front-of-house and kitchen teams.

Ayaz Uddin, manager of the new Pret in Chichester said, “We are thrilled to be opening a shop in Chichester for the first time and to start getting to know our new customers and local community.”

Unsold food from Pret’s new Chichester shop will be donated to Stonepillow – an organisation that offers shelter, information and support to empower homeless and vulnerable individuals to make positive changes in their lives.

“We’re looking forward to supporting the hard work of Stonepillow,” added Mr Uddin. “It makes us proud to know that the food we’re hand-making fresh in the shop each day, will not only be enjoyed by customers, but will also be donated to a very worthwhile place once our shop is closed for the evening.”

Customers will be welcomed by Pret’s full menu of handmade natural food, including sandwiches, salads, wraps, baguettes and hot options, all made each day in the shop’s on-site kitchen.

Pret’s full menu of organic teas and coffees, and a large selection of juices and cold drinks will also be available, alongside barista-prepared iced drinks.
