The group will be working with the church and the town council to offer medication collection, shopping deliveries, dog walking and other services.

Katie Tytler has helped to set up the Covid-19 Midhurst Angels which will aim to support members of the community who have been left vulnerable facing coronavirus.

"We are going to circulate a leaflet saying there is a phone number and email for anyone in isolation who might not have anyone to assist them at this time.

"Most importantly we will get it out to elderly people who don't have people there for them.

"It is amazing the amount of people who have stepped forward to offer their support. It's a brilliant start to helping and getting together."

Do you know anyone who is in need of help? Are you in need of help yourself? Can you offer support? Call 07538 839 703 or find the group on Facebook here.
