Daniel Hull, from Bognor Regis, is asking people to donate a minimum of £5 to have a chance to win a framed print of the artwork, named ‘Shine Bright’.

The 29-year-old , who is passionate about making art, said he wanted to do more to help amid the pandemic.

His picture, which he said had proved ‘quite popular’ so far, shows a group of NHS workers facing a bright rainbow.

He said: “I just thought it would be nice to show them walking off to victory after the end of a shift, to the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Mr Hull, who has worked as a porter for the last four years, said it was a ‘surreal’ time to be working at the hospital, adding: “Everyday is a different challenge.”

All donations will go towards the NHS Charities Together fund – donate at justgiving.com/fundraising/shinebright-strichards
