Memories of Queen Elizabeth II: Horsham celebrates the Silver Jubilee in 1977

As we remember the life and duty of Queen Elizabeth, we look back at how Horsham marked the Silver Jubilee 45 years ago.

In 1977 the West Sussex County Times carried a 16-page souvenir pull-out commemorating the 25th anniversary of her reign.

The newspaper also carried a long list of all of the street parties planned throughout the district.
