MIDHURST Museum, has celebrated its 1000th visitor.
The museum in Knockhundred Market welcomed Henry Friend on Friday, who is a retired accountant from Guildford.
Mr Friend was presented with a commemorative copy of ‘Midhurst in Living Memory’, which recalls 100 years of memories of the people of the town.
Museum spokesman Peter Nightingale said: “This is a remarkable achievement for a museum that opened in December last year and now opens for a few hours every week.
Currently exhibiting a polo display, it opens from 10am-2.30pm on Fridays and 10am-12.30pm on Saturdays.
