THE 24 year old woman who was airlifted to Southampton hospital yesterday (Wednesday, February 10) after a crash on the A272 is ‘in a serious condition’ said a police spokesman today.

Her car was in collision with a bus taking pupils to school in Petersfield shortly after 8am at Durleighmarsh near Rogate.

Firefighters using specialist equipment had to cut her out of her car before she could be taken by air ambulance to Southampton.

Nobody on the school bus was injured.
