Active family fun

The event has been organised by Freedom Leisure, Active Rother and SureStart to encourage more of us to get up and be active.

Staff member Nicole White said: "Why not try your hand at some arts and crafts? Or if you are feeling really energetic, have a bounce on a trampoline with one of our fully trained coaches.

"Caterpillar music will be here to entertain and engage all age groups with a range of musical activities you can join in with.

"During the afternoon you can take part in a whole range of sporting activities such as basketball and gymnastics or join in with our multisports activities in the sports hall - they're great fun and suitable for all ages and abilities.

"There are so many fun activities to choose from including Jumbos soft play, face-painting, pre-school football and an adult toning class.

"Shotokan Karate is in attendance for the full three hours so if you fancy a try just pop along. Or why not come along and speak to the squash coach to get a few pointers, and maybe take him on at his own game?
