There will be 20 gardens to visit in the picturesque village, as well as lunches, teas, plant sales, a designer quilt raffle and a tombola.

Visitors will help raise money to fund vital medical research to save and change the lives of sick and disabled babies and children.

Ellie Evans, fundraising communications officer, said: “For more than 60 years, Action Medical Research has helped pioneer treatments and ways to prevent disease that have benefited millions of people in the UK and across the world.

“Research they’ve funded has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound in pregnancy, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths.”

The gardens will be open from midday until 6pm. Assistance dogs will be allowed but not other animals.
