Angmering students celebrate GCSE success

IT was a day of celebration, and rightly so, for teenagers picking up their GCSE results at The Angmering School on Thursday (August 27).

Two years of hard work paid off, with 58 per cent of students gaining more than five A*-C grades, the best result since 2006, and 48 per cent gaining more than five A*-C grades including maths and English, up five per cent on last year.

Head teacher David Brixey said: "I am very grateful to all of our teachers who worked very hard to make sure that all of our students gained the best possible results.
