Appeal after boy, 14, is stabbed in Bognor

A 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the back in a flat in Bognor Regis in the early hours of this morning.

The victim, from London, suffered four puncture wounds to his back and was rushed to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Police are now hunting for two men who reportedly committed the attack while visiting the flat, in Lyon Street, Bognor Regis.

The boy, who was staying at the flat, is said to have suffered ‘serious but not life-threatening’ injuries.

Police were called to the incident at 3am on Wednesday, March 2.

A Sussex Police statament said: “The boy who was staying at the flat was reportedly attacked by two men who were visiting.

“The men then left the building and the occupant found the boy had been stabbed and called an ambulance.

“Officers carried out a search of the area but could not find the suspects.

“One is black and was dressed in black jeans, a black shirt and a jacket with dark hair.

“The other is white, has brown hair and was wearing blue jeans and a shirt or T-shirt. Both spoke with foreign accents.”
