CREATE a fun festival atmosphere with bespoke bunting made by clients at the Apuldram Centre.

Clients have been enjoying a winter project to make bunting using lots of donated material, guided by arts and crafts instructor Sally Milligan.

Workshops have been held every Tuesday where clients have been busy cutting, tacking, stitching, machine finishing and then ironing the pretty party flags.

They have made a wide range of different styles to suit any occasion from a Jubilee party to the Olympics or just to add a splash of colour to the children’s bedrooms or the garden shed.

The bunting is now being sold at the Apuldram Centre shop at the bargain price of £6 for three metres. Proceeds go back to the charity, which helps provide education and training opportunities for adults with learning difficulties.

“It’s just been a really fun project, we’ve had all our crafty crafters beavering away,” said Sally.
