Organised by Oz Dallyn, the town is raising money for the children’s charity at Great Ormond Street Hospital where Oz and Michael’s son, Lloyd, has just undergone his tenth procedure for lymphatic malformation which means he suffers from fluid filled cysts.

Lloyd, now six and at Petworth Primary School, underwent a major operation at five months old and will have to undergo operations through his life.

“Without the medical expertise and support GOSH has provided, Lloyd’s quality of life would no doubt be very different,” said Oz, “and Bad Hair Day is a fantastic chance to help raise funds and give something back.”

Petworth Primary School is leading the way and already others have pledged to join in, including Kaleidoscope Nursery, The Angel pub and eight other businesses.

Donations can be made through Oz and Lloyd’s JustGiving page.
