Basement Jaxx to perform at Goodwood's Three Friday Nights

Iconic electronic dance duo Basement Jaxx have been announced as one of the acts to perform at this year's Three Friday Nights at Goodwood Racecourse.

Also taking centre stage on the other two nights will be DJ Sister Bliss, the musical force behind Faithless, and Radio 1 DJ Mistajam.

The three acts will perform on successive Friday nights (Sister Bliss Faithless DJ set June 3; MistaJam June 10; Basement Jaxx DJ set June 17) as part of the usual combination of racing, music and dancing at Goodwood.

Following the racing, dancing shoes will replace horse shoes when the Parade Ring again transforms into a unique music arena.

Traditionally each of the nights is a sell-out, with thousands of race-goers welcomed.

Perhaps the biggest draw this year is electric dance due Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, who make up Basement Jaxx.

Since starting out in Brixton they have headlined Glastonbury, had a three-million-selling album and won Brit and Grammy awards.
