Basketball injury at Midhurst Rother College

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance was called to Midhurst Rother College on Tuesday afternoon (September 26) when a student was injured playing basketball.

A spokesman for the air ambulance said the Helicopter Emergency Medical Team helped to treat the boy who had a head injury and he was then taken to hospital by road.

College principal Stuart Edwards told the Observer: “A student was accidentally injured playing basketball and the air ambulance was called by medics as a precaution. The boy was released from St Richards Hospital later that evening.”
