BATS Dads Army auditions

BEXHILL Amateur Theatrical Society (BATS) are looking for a few good men (and women)to audition for their forthcoming production of Dads Army.

The auditions will be held at the Granary Barn at Bexhill Manor Gardens

On Saturday September 4 at 10.30 am.

The main male character roles are: Captain Mainwaring, Lance Corporal Jones, Sergeant Wilson, Private Frazer, Private Walker, Private Godfrey, Private Pike, Chief Warden Hodges, The Vicar, The Verger.

Two ladies are also needed for the main female roles of Mrs Fox and Mrs Pike.

The performance will be staged at the De La Warr Pavilion on January 14, 15 and 16.

Anyone considering auditioning for a role will need to be available on all of these dates and for rehearsals.

Trish Daly is directing the production, she said: "The main characters are all well known to most of you, so if you have a preference, please come with that in mind.

"Lots of extras, too numerous to list, are also required.
