Battle fire crews tackle oven blaze
A FIRE broke out in the kitchen of a home in Battle on Sunday afternoon.
Two fire crews from Battle were called to Hampden Close at 3.30pm following reports an oven had caught fire.
The bottom of the cooker was ablaze and the flames spread to the wooden floor.
Firefighters were on the scene for 20 minutes.
