Bexhill bogus callers

At lunch time on Friday 15th September 2006 an elderly lady became the victim of a group distraction burglars.

The 82 year old lady was at her home address in West Hill Road, St Leonards On Sea when a man called stating he need access to the house to sort out problems with the water supply. Once inside he was joined by a couple of other men. The group then left with a quantity of cash.

With in an hour another, similar offence, occurred in London Road, Bexhill.

The description of the offenders given in both incidents are similar.

The CD Fit attached is of the principle offender in the West Hill Road burglary.
