Flip Out - the largest trampoline park operator in Europe - is the company behind the 22,500sq ft arena which is set to be the biggest in the county and the first for the city.

It will be built at Glenmore Business Park, to the south-east of the Portfield Roundabout on the A27, after being awarded planning approval and is only the second in the UK to feature a Ninja Warrior Course, with other park highlights set to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Entrepreneurs Richard and Ryan Wootton are behind the new project and Richard said: “We were keen to bring this unique trampolining experience to Chichester and are delighted to have found the perfect location.

“We are already working closely with local schools and other community organisations to give them the opportunity to use Flip Out as a place to exercise, socialise and have fun.”

Flip Out Chichester is due to open early next year, creating 40 jobs, of which half will be permanent roles, the company said.

A Flip Out trampoline park opened in Portsmouth last year.

The headline on the original story incorrectly said it would be the biggest in the country, instead of the biggest in the county.
