Biker seriously hurt in crash

A 38-year-old man from Ninfield has been flown to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious injuries after his Aprilia motorbike collided with a postal van near Rye on Saturday.

Police and emergency services were called to Udimore Road, near Stubb Lane at around 11.55am. It is thought the motorcyclist, who was travelling west, collided with the rear of the van also travelling west.
