Harvest: St Giles Harvest Service will take place on October 5 at 11.15am. Gordon the vicar also the Bodiam Church of England primary School service is to take place on October 7 at St Giles at 9.30am, please phone the school first before you go.

Parish Council: The next meeting of the parish council is on October 13 at 7pm in the Parish Room.

Sport Hall Hire: If anyone would like to hire the Claremont Senior School sports hall phone 01424 75155. The Sixth Form Centre grand opening takes place on Thursday October 16 at 4.30pm.

Primary School: news from the Bodiam Church of England Primary School PTA Xmas Fair. It will take place on December 18 in the school hall but you will have to phone the school for the time. But please put the date in your diary.

Pam Marsh: has had another fall, this time at the village war memorial, at the time she was doing good work for the parish council but I am glad to say that Pam is up and running again.

Coffee Beans: I did the guess how many coffee beans in the jar for Macmillan Cancer support and the closest to the total was 2.250 and the £20 goes to Miss A K Kerry of Sandhurst. Under the silver panel was 2,230 and the £20 will go to Macmillan.
