Bodiam Church of England Primary School would like to thank everyone who supported the NSPCC Numbers Day last term.

£106 was raised and has been sent off.

Nick Waterhouse, the number five at Bodiam Castle, has entered the triathlon at Bodiam Castle on September 7. Nick will swim 500m round the moat before heading off for a 21k cross country bike ride and a 6k run.

Nick may be on the lookout for sponsorship for a charity.

The mobile library will be at Levetts Lane on February 6 from 3.10-3.25pm.

Claremont Senior School at Bodiam is to have an open day on February 1, 9.30am-1pm. If anyone is unable to attend the open morning, but would like a tour, please call 01424 751555 and the school will be happy to arrange a visit at a time to suit.

This year the Guinness Hop Farm’s pensioners’ lunch is on Thursday March 6 at the Castle Inn, Bodiam. Pre-lunch drinks will be served from noon and lunch will be served at 12.45pm. If any Guinness Hop Farm pensioners do not know the Castle Inn, it is the only pub in Bodiam and opposite Bodiam Castle in the Main Street.
