Boot sale boosts Rye Bonfire
People will be able to bag a bargain on Easter Monday and help raise funds for Rye Bonfire Society at the same time when a boot sale takes place at Jempsons of Peasmarsh.
It takes place on Monday April 6 from 7am.
Irna Mortlock, from the bonfire society, said: “There will be lots of bargains and treasures to be found on the stalls.
“The Bonfire Society will be collecting and hope to raise a record amount to go towards this year’s Bonfire night.
“Volunteers in all areas are always needed to help to make this wonderful local event a ‘roaring’ success.
