An elderly woman has been taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’ following a crash in Selsey High Street this morning.

The crash, which involved a lorry and a mobility scooter, happened in the High Street around 10.30am today (October 15).

Police said the woman suffered ‘serious’ injuries, however no further information was available at this time.

An air ambulance was also called to the scene and the road was closed in both directions.
