An elderly woman has been taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’ following a crash in Selsey High Street this morning.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a mobility scooter and a lorry in Selsey High Street PICTURE BY EDDIE MITCHELL SUS-151015-133903001

The crash, which involved a lorry and a mobility scooter, happened in the High Street around 10.30am today (October 15).

Police said the woman suffered ‘serious’ injuries, however no further information was available at this time.

An air ambulance was also called to the scene and the road was closed in both directions.
