BREAKING NEWS: Police release pictures of four robbers

POLICE today (Thursday, November 26) released pictures of four men who stole a large amount of money from a Co-op store in Durrington during a terrifying raid.

The four masked men forced three staff members to lay on the ground in the shop in Manor Parade, Salvington Road, at around 10pm on Thursday, November 19.

The four men, who were all wearing grey hoodies and balaclavas, struck as the two women and a man were closing the shop.

They were forced back into the store and through to offices at the rear of the building where the supervisor was made to open a safe.

The men made off through the rear of the store in the direction of the Lamb Inn, carrying the cash in a dark grey box file and taking two of the staff's mobile phones, a handbag and a wallet.

Police have described the first man as white, about 6ft 3ins, with blue eyes and wearing black leather gloves, black balaclava and a grey hoodie.

A second is described as also white, of fat build and wearing a grey hoodie covering his face.

It is believed the men may have been hanging around in the area before making their move.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen them before, during or after the robbery or who has any information about them, to contact 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1915 of 19/11.
