BREAKING NEWS: Stolen car discovered dumped in River Arun
A STOLEN car has been discovered in the River Arun today (Tuesday, March 26).
The vehicle was found in the Littlehampton’s harbour, off Surrey Street, shortly before 11.30am this morning.
Specially trained diving officers from Sussex Police Specialist Search Unit conducted an assessment of the car, a Renault Kangoo, which believed to have been stolen nearby, on Thursday, March 21.
The car is currently being prepared by officers and engineers to be recovered from the River.
It is expected to be pulled from the water in the next 10 minutes.
