BUS GOES UP IN FLAMES
FIRE gutted a 48-seater bus in Honeypot Lane, South Chailey, at 7.20pm on Tuesday.
Luckily, it was empty except for the driver, who was able to escape unhurt after noticing smoke.
Fire crews from Barcombe and Lewes attended.
The fire also spread to a nearby hedgerow.
The road was damaged by the heat and was closed for re-surfacing.
