MIDHURST’S Age UK shop reopened yesterday after a major facelift.
The store in North Street now features a new lay-out as well as an information hub that will help everyone to access local and national information, services and products available from Age UK and its partners.
Jackie Rickard, former volunteer and regular donor at the Age UK shop in Midhurst, said: “It’s very exciting that the revamped shop is open again.
“Everybody knows Age UK and a lot of people have been waiting for the shop to return to the high street after two weeks of work.”
Age UK Shop Manager Caroline Bullock, said: “As always, we rely on the public donating their much-loved quality items to us and on volunteers giving their time to help run our shop, so we hope local people will support us in any way they can.”
“The bright new shop with modern fixtures, white walls, smooth lines, and chic furniture is set to be a huge success among bargain hunters who are looking for original pieces that are not necessarily available on the high street.”
Donations can be deposited at the Age UK shop in North Street.
