CUSTOMER service is something which is integral to most businesses – without the clients there would be no business.

This is why law firm Rita Sen Solicitors has decided to back the business awards and sponsor our Customer Service category.

This is the first time the company has been involved in the business awards – and they are in for a treat.

With the glittering award ceremony just more than a week away, it will be a night to remember.

But let’s find out a bit about Rita Sen Solicitors, and why the company decided to get involved with our awards.

The firm was started up in Rose Green, Bognor Regis in 2003 by the company’s namesake Rita Sen.

In the early days, it was just Rita and three other staff. Now there is a second branch, also in Rose Green, and 15 employees.

The firm specialises in several aspects of legal practice. These include the administration of estates, house sales and purchases, powers of attorney, residential care services, wills and inheritance tax, and court of protection.

But the most important thing to the company is its clients, which is why the category it is sponsoring is an appropriate one.

On why the company chose to sponsor the Customer Service award, Rita said: “The tag line of the company is ‘we really care for our clients’. That was the obvious one that jumps out and fits with the ethos of the business.”

Despite being a Bognor-based business for more than ten years, this is the first time the firm has been involved in our awards.

Rita explained why she had come on board as a sponsor.

“We wanted to support something that was recognising local business and obviously as we come out of the recession, we hope a lot of businesses will begin to grow,” she said.

And what better platform to support growing businesses than at our annual business awards, which recognise the economic struggle, and give companies a pat on the back.
