Breakdown crews are set to give stranded motorists a surprise when they drive up to rescue them wearing hot pink.
But that is what to expect on Friday, October 28, when staff at Midhurst Engineering support Wear It Pink Day for the breast cancer research project, Pink Science.
Mechanics will be joined by the company’s recovery team and administrative staff in sporting a shade not normally seen around their workshops at Rumbolds Hill.
Mike Morgan, a director of Midhurst Engineering, said customers would be invited to donate to the cause, and there would also be pink cakes, pink car items for sale, and double discount points for Midhurst First loyalty card holders who sponsor a member of staff between now and next Friday.
Several other businesses in the town who are also members of the loyalty card scheme will be following suit.
Pink car accessories have been donated by Camberley Auto Factors.
