Carers join charity walk for Alzheimer’s Society

CARE agency staff were out in force to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society,

Inter-County Nursing and Care Services, a privately-owned care agency, joined the 8k Sussex Memory Walk at Petworth House on Saturday and staff from the Rustington and Chichester branches took part.

Operations director Caroline Hempstead said: “We support many people living with dementia or Alzheimer’s, so the walk was a fantastic way to show our support for this worthwhile cause. In total, we have raised £1,523.67 and we would like to thank everyone who has supported us.”

Team Inter-County comprised Gill Wicks, Emma Wicks, Miles Butt, Dorothy Chui, Ellie Lord, Jamie Couchman, Jane McCracken, Jack McCracken, Sarah Williams, Susan Brigstock and Caroline Hempstead.
