THE season of goodwill is nearly upon us again and Midhurst Cards for Good Causes is now open for business and ready to help spread the festive cheer.
Regional organiser Judith O’Sullivan said: “Cards For Good Causes is pleased to be back in Capron House and thank the Cowdray Estate for their help in providing this venue for the 2014 season.
“It is wonderful that this lovely building is available for public use and this is a way of helping all the charities involved.”
Charity Christmas cards are on sale in the pop-up outlet.
The shop is open Monday–Friday from 10am-4pm, and Saturday from 10am-1pm until December 16.
Midhurst shop manager Hannah Miller and her son Rudy have been welcoming early customers with the help of their loyal volunteers.
More than 27 different national charities are represented, including local charities Sussex Snowdrop Trust, Chichester Hospitals and Canine Partners.
Judith added: “Many of our volunteers have helped year after year in Midhurst and without their help we simply could not run the shop.
“If anyone would like to be involved, please do pop in. All this is under one roof, with a selection of traditional advent calendars, advent candles, wrappings and small gifts.
“Visit early for the best selection and remember the charities all benefit enormously from your support.”
