Charity concert raises hundred for Macmillan

A David Bowie tribute artist from Billingshurst has raised of pounds for a cancer charity.

Stephen Foster has been doing a David Bowie tribute act for some time, and when his father passed away from cancer last year, Stephen decided to raise some money for the local Macmillan group.

Stephen organised a charity concert, which was held at the Billingshurst village centre on March 26.

As well as Stephen’s act, Rob Nichol performed swing music and Richard Sharp put on some great rock classics.

The event was well attended and the Macmillan ladies held a raffle in the interval.

A grand total of £820 was raised during the event.
