Chichester and Worthing court results

The following are court results for Chichester and Worthing magistrates' courts from March 14 to 18.

Antony Ellis, 26, of Tupper Gardens, Felpham, was given a community order and a restraining order after admitting harassment without violence in Bognor Regis between January 29, 2016, and February 25, 2016. He must pay £60 victim surcharge and £84 costs.

Emerson Flower, 35, of The Croft, Cocking, was fined £100 and must pay £70 costs after admitting breaching a community order made by Worthing Magistrates’ Court on January 19, 2015, by failing to attend unpaid work as instructed.

Toby McKean, 18, of Gainsborough Drive, Selsey, was jailed for a total of eight weeks after failing to comply with a community order, which was revoked. He was dealt with for three original offences, committed in Selsey on August 28, 2015. He was given a two-week prison sentence for criminal damage, an eight-week concurrent prison sentence for assaulting a police constable and an eight-week concurrent prison sentence for assault by beating.

Lisa MacKenzie, 54, of Tarrant Street, Arundel, was given a community order and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting two charges of assault by beating in Arundel on December 16, 2015; and causing £50 damage to a window in Arundel on December 17, 2015.

Susan Neale, 56, of Boleyn Drive, Bognor Regis, was fined £160 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £200 costs, after admitting drink-driving (61mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Central Avenue, Bognor Regis, on August 16, 2015. She was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

Julie Cairns, 48, of Gilbert Road, Chichester, was discharged conditionally for six months and must pay £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting stealing four pairs of trousers worth £133.50 from Marks and Spencer, Chichester, on February 27, 2016.

Daniel Streeter, 35, of Priestley Way, Bognor Regis, was fined £40 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting begging in Station Road, Bognor Regis, on February 26, 2016.

Glen Verrechia, 51, of Hook Lane, Bognor Regis, was discharged conditionally for six months and must pay £300 compensation, £15 vicitm surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting causing £300 damage to a vehicle in Bognor Regis on December 16, 2015.

Henry Alston, 21, of Glamis Street, Bognor Regis, must pay £68 compensation, £85 costs, after admitting fraud by using a receipt intending to gain £68 at Wilko, Bognor Regis, on February 18, 2016. He must pay £8.55 compensation after admitting fraud by using a receipt to gain £8.55 at Wilko, Bognor Regis, on February 12, 2016. He also admitted breaching a conditional discharge order, no action taken.

Tomasz Fialkiewicz, 39, of The Crescent, Felpham, was given a community order and must carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work after admitting drink-driving (104mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Felpham Way, Bognor Regis, on February 28, 2016. He must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

Tomasz Idec, 27, of Allestree Court, Walton Road, Bognor Regis, was given a community order and must carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work after admitting stealing vodka worth £34 from Morrisons, Bognor Regis, on February 6, 2016; causing £65 damage to a custody cell in Chichester on February 6, 2016; and failing to surrender to custody at Worthing Magistates’ Court on March 15, 2016. He must pay a total of £82 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Lucie Ellis, 34, of Maple Gardens, Bognor Regis, was fined £80 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting possessing amphetamine in Bognor Regis on November 27, 2015. She also admitted breaching a suspended sentence order, no action taken.
