Covers Timber and Builders Merchants in Chichester has raised more than £20,000 for local hospices.
In less than one week, Covers smashed its £20,000 target - with all proceeds going to St Wilfrid’s Hospice and Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice in Arundel. Covers donated £5 for every purchase over £60, as well as holding various fundraisers.
Covers worker Daphne Webb said: “Over the past three years I have felt the heartache and grief at the loss of two close family members, including my 33 year old niece who passed away from cancer.
“St Wilfrid’s has my eternal gratitude for the help, consideration and professionalism they showed us during a very difficult period.”
