Chichester's Tim Peake shares South Coast picture from space

Chichester astronaut Tim Peake continues to keep us updated with his pictures from space, and this time he has shared a stunning picture of the South Coast.

The image shows Chichester, Bognor and the surrounding area including Midhurt and Petworth in the sunny weather yesterday.

Peake tweeted the picture along with the caption: “A sunny UK south coast today - where I grew up (not that I really ever grew up!)”

Tim Peake arrived at the ISS on December 15 2015 and his mission was due to last six months, however found out this week that his mission has been extended by fourteen days for further research.
