Climate change has been with us all the time
Two hundred and fifty million years ago, a volcanic eruption in Siberia, spewing out vast quantities of lava and poison gases into the atmosphere, warmed the planet by 10 degrees, wiping out 95 per cent of all animal and plant species. This is today hailed as an 'evolutionary opportunity' by palaeontologists! So why are we worried? Because we are told we should be.
Is climate change happening? Of course it is; it has never stopped happening.
