Coffee morning at Little Common library

LITTLE COMMON library is a little known little treasure that's tucked away in the Community Centre, and in order to spread the word and attract more readers, organisers held a coffee morning.

Entirely run by volunteers, and self-funded, the library is open two mornings a week and secretary Yvonne Pearson said they really would like more people to join the library.

Yvonne said: " We hold the coffee morning to get more readers to join and also to have a book sale to clear some stock."

The event was well supported with many people snapping up the bargain books and enjoying refreshments of teas, coffees and biscuits.

In addition there was a raffle and stalls sold cards, bric a brac, and jewellery.

The library is open on Tuesdays 9.30pm-4pm and Friday 9.30pm-12.30pm
