Boat stolen and crashed into pier at Bosham Quay

Police are appealing for information after a boat was stolen in Bosham Quay before the thieves crashed it into the pier, police have said.

Police are appealing to identify the men pictured following a report of a boat theft in Bosham.

On May 30 around 6pm two men were reported to have jumped into a six-foot inflatable boat which was moored at Bosham Quay.

The men drove off in it before crashing into the pier causing damage to the boat, police have said.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "The victim allegedly tried to challenge the men when they got out of the water but they became verbally aggressive before riding off on bikes.

"It is believed the men pictured may be able to assist with enquiries.

"Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened or is able to identify the men pictured to come forward.

"Please report information online or by calling 101, quoting serial 1329 of 30/05."
